The Stabilization Period is the amount of time it takes for the GSS (Gasoline
Super Saver) to fully condition the engine’s cylinder’s and fuel/air pathways
for the greatest mileage. This takes from 3-5 tanks of fuel depending on the
type of vehicle.
Mileage, Economy & Power
A vehicle’s savings are dependent on
how the driver drives, where and when they are going, traffic, road and weather
conditions such as cold, hot, rain, snow and a couple other things such as:
Winter Gasoline
Did you know that at the beginning of cold weather, gasoline
stations change from “Summer” to “Winter Gasoline.”
The EPA reports Winter
Gasoline automatically reduces normal mileage approximately 15% due to the
reduction of hydrocarbon molecules which are exchanged for oxygenates to reduce
carbon monoxide. Please check our
emissions testing – carbon monoxide is
basically eliminated after treatment. So ifyou install during the change, you
will only get about 5% increase, but you will not get the 15% loss of mileage.
When summer fuel comes back, your increase will go up another 15%.
Power Instead
of Mileage
Some people love the increase in power rather than the mileage. The
GSS gives two basic responses: Power or Economy. If you really like the increase
in power and Jack Rabbit starts and higher speed passing, then the GSS will
provide more power; this has been tested on dynamometer. If you do not employ
the extra power, then you get economy.
The Science of Combustion Efficiency:
Reduced emissions = Fuel Savings
Stoichiometry is the science of the relationship of emissions to
combustion efficiency. Most emissions like HC (hydrocarbons), CO (carbon
monoxide) and a few others go down as combustion efficiency and economy goes up.
Once in awhile, we’ll receive a report from a driver who thinks the system is
not working, but the before and after emissions testing showed a large reduction
of emissions meaning that driver did not measure the mileage correctly or they
drive with a heavy foot.
Emissions testing is not dependent
on anything such as driving habits or road and weather conditions. If
the emissions go down after the installation, the Fuel Saver System is working.
