Results of Kulish Monopolar Diesel Fuel Savers
on Lamonica Fine Foods Trucks
Summary Report - Updated 1/19/09
From Transport Topics, “saved almost $10,000 in the first three months on fuel,”
Dennis McStravock, Senior Buyer, for LaMonica fine Foods, a seafood distributor
based in Millville, NJ
Updated Summary of Results
On June 24, 2008, the Kulish Monopolar Systems [under the Vortex label] were
installed on four heavy duty diesel trucks for LaMonica Fine Foods, a division
of Cape May Foods, LLC, Millville, New Jersey.
The first test report prepared
for LaMonica with data through September 19, 2008, compared the baseline and
after MPG on an individual unit basis, showed an average 19% increase. The fleet
average per the IFTA-100 quarterly reports for the three previous baseline
quarters averaged 5.226 Miles per Gallon (MPG). These reports are prepared by
Miller Leasing on behalf of LaMonica and filed with the appropriate taxing
authorities.
The first full quarter (with data through September 30, 2008) after
installation shows a fleet average of 6.34 MPG, an increase of 21.3%.
The second
full quarter after installation (with data through December 31, 2008) shows a
fleet average of 6.94 MPG, an increase of 32.7%!
Lamonica purchased the systems
for all their trucks. At basically 33% savings, every third fillup was free.
It
is important to note that the older style air application shows a longer term
Stabilization Period. The new application on a non-ferrous cold charged line
will decrease the Stabilization Period geometrically so the higher economy is
achieved much more rapidly.
